Lissie's First Field Trip...Castlewood Canyon

Lissie got to go on her very first field trip today. Needless to say she was so excited. We went to a beautiful state park called Castlewood Canyon.

Here is Lissie with all of her classmates and her teachers Ms. Nan and Ms. Yama.

This was the view from a bridge. It was a beautiful fall day with lots of sun and the children just loved being outside.

The little ones needed plenty of rest stops along the hike. I love this picture because Lissie seemed to hang out with the boys a lot!

After our long hike (we got a little lost), we came back to school for a pizza party.

After lunch the children played outside in their sandbox. It was so nice to be able to watch Lissie interact with all of her buddies. What a perfect day to have right before her surgery tomorrow.
