At the Cabin with Granny and Papa

On our last day up at the cabin, Granny and Papa came up to visit and they brought donuts!!! The girls were ecstatic.

Granny also taught them how to stand on the tire swing. They also got to go for a hike where we saw horses on the trail and picked rocks to paint as ladybugs.

4th of July Church in the Park

We had our church service in the park today and since Daddy was helping set up we got to play on the playground before the service. The weather started out cloudy and cold but turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. After the service we had a wonderful picnic with everyone. It was a lot of fun.

Happy 4th Of July

We had a wonderful BBQ dinner at Granny and Papa's house. They are up on a hill so the view of the fireworks is awesome. Of course, we did more sparklers!

Unfortunately, the weather was so windy and cold that the fireworks were canceled for the evening. We did get to redo them though the following night. It was worth the wait but unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.

Firework Fun!

We decided that tonight was the perfect night to set off some of our own fireworks before tomorrow nights 4th of July festivities.

The greatest thing about Craig and Barbie living across the street is that we can always count on them to come and add to our fun.

Lissie didn't like the noisy ones.

And as usual, Abby mainly wanted to play "mommy" to Porter.

After Daddy's show all the kiddos got to play with the sparklers.

Lissie's Big Girl Bed!!

Today Lissie got her big girl bed. She was so excited. She and Abby played on it for hours, well minutes.

She is so sweet when she's sleeping!
