Today Abby's class got to go on a field trip to the fire station. I just love how she holds all of her little friends hands. 
The firefighters were wonderful! They showed all the children what a fully dressed fireman would look like if he were to have to rescue them from a fire. To be honest, he looks pretty scary but they kept telling the children that it was still Joe under all that gear and he was still safe. I think it really made an impact. The kiddos also got to practice crawling to safety under the smoke (a sheet).

I think her favorite part of this field trip was that Daddy came with her!
After the fire station, we got to go to the park for snack and playtime. Abby LOVED the swings as usual.
