Facing Forward!
Here is my baby all tuckered out after a long day of shopping. Please note the half eaten cookie in her tiny little hand. Poor baby.

Happy Halloween...yes I know its late:)
Anyhow, Halloween was a lot of fun for the girls. We had Granny and Grandpa over for dinner and then after eating we all went out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Before heading out though, Abby had a great time waiting for the "kids to come" so that she could give them candy. Of course, she was too nervous to actually go to the door but she loved it when the kids came. After several children, we left to do our own trick-or-treating. Grandpa fell on the way out the door and twisted his ankle terribly but fortunately he was still able to walk on it. Of course, his injury concerned Abby greatly. She is such a tender and caring little girl. She kept asking if Grandpa was okay. After that drama we went to a few houses. Lissie got scared at the first one when a man offered her candy. Abby on the other hand, wanted to go inside! We only went to about 5 houses before Lissie was done but Abby and Granny continued for a long time after. Abby loved it and is still talking about how she said "trick-or-treat" to the people at the houses.
Here is my beautiful little chicken.
This was the only shot they would let me get of them together.
After all of the excitement Lissie got to experience her very first lollipop!

Happy Birthday Abby!!!
It is so hard to believe that my baby is already three and not a baby at all!!! She is growing up so quickly and is becoming smarter and more beautiful every day. She loves to sing, go to Sunday school, read to Lissie and is absolutely obsessed with going out. She loves to go to lunch or go "somewhere" to meet with friends. Abby is truly the joy in our lives and we are thankful to God every day for blessing us with her. Here are some pictures of Abby's Tea Party 3rd Birthday.
The only thing that Abby asked for consistently was a pink cake so I made her a strawberry flavored teapot. She LOVED it!
We decided to serve scones with jam and cream along with tea. I made sure we had sugar cubes and tried to make the experience as authentic as possible. Abby's favorite part was eating the sugar straight from the bowl.
Here is the birthday girl playing with her new computer from Mommy and Daddy.
Mommy and the birthday girl.
Here are both girls playing with all of the toys Abby was spoiled with. Among the many were an indestructible digital camera, a tennis raquet, musical instruments, clothes, baby dolls and furniture for the dolls. She had a wonderful birthday.

The Zoo...again
Here is Mike taking a turn.
Granny and Abby enjoyed themselves as well although Abby kept dropping the food before the giraffe could get it. She was a little nervous of that long tongue.
Even the butterflies put on an impressive display.
Once again, Abby got to ride a pony. She loves this part of the zoo. She even remembered the name of the first pony she rode here.
The Gorillas were quite entertaining as well. This one even beat at its chest. I've never actually seen that in person!
Abby and the orangutan made friends with each other. They stared at each other forever!
Both girls enjoyed petting the bunny. We have to work with Abby on being more gentle though. The koi seemed quite taken with Abby.
Lissie absolutely loved the moose and wouldn't let go of that fence!
Finally though, she gave in to her exhaustion and passed out. Isn't she adorable when she's sleeping. Abby, of course, kept trying to wake her up.
