Where a kid can be a kid.........
Abby's favorite ride was this Hickory Dickory Dock Clock. She went on it at least 10 times!
Lissie's favorite was the horsie. She was adorable because she kept trying to push the horse to go faster! A girl after my own heart.
Both girls got to go in the above ground tunnels. This was Lissie's very first time being able to get all the way up to the top.

Abby and her friend Eli now get to ride by themselves!
Karen and her pretty little Maddie.
Mommy and Lissie. I remember when I used to ride with her in a baby carrier!

Snowy Afternoon
After waking up from her nap, Mt. Lissie errupted over having to put her pretties (glasses) on. This picture was taken after I finally got her to calm down. It took about half an hour of extreme screaming! My girl is definitely determined!
We decided since there was still snow on the ground and the weather was nice that we would take the girls sledding again.
Look at Lissie's little mohawk.

The sledding wasn't that great since the snow was so wet. We only got in about 3 runs before it turned to mud. While we were there, Abby made friends with a very precocious little boy.
Here is our snowman the day after we made him. He's already lost his head and the body is disappearing quickly!
Definitely a typical spring storm. We got almost two feet of snow and it was pretty much gone the next day.

Another Big Storm!
Playing in Daddy's car. I guess they got too cold and decided playing while it was still snowing wasn't that much fun!
I love Lissie's spiky hair.
A new fun snowtime tradition is watching Elmo's Pets in Mommy and Daddy's bed while eating popcorn.

Easter Afternoon
Abby had figured out the egg hunt thing in the morning at Gigi's so she was in top form once we got to Granny's. She found the eggs faster than I could keep up with her!
Just look at her go after those eggs!

Mike worked all of Easter weekend but was able to make it for dinner at Granny and Papa's. Once he got there the girls got to go on a scavenger hunt. It was the most brilliant idea. They had put pictures into envelopes showing where the next envelope was finally ending in the powder room with their Easter baskets. I have to say Abby had so much fun that by the time she found the basket, she was disappointed that there wasn't another clue!
Here is Abby and her treasure!
Lissie loved the book.

The adults got a Grand Slam Finale.
The disaster created by the girls. Granny will be picking up Easter grass all summer.
Lissie ended the evening in the kitchen on the floor with her cake. She pulled it down off the counter to continue eating it!

Easter Breakfast
We celebrated Easter all day this year. First we went to Gigi and Grandpa Mike's for breakfast. The girls got to wear their cute outfits although it was freezing out.
A rare group shot.
After a fun Easter egg hunt, Ellen and Gary had prepared a great breakfast. It was a great beginning to a wonderful day.

It took Abby a little while to get the hang of the hunt but once she did, she loved it!
Lissie ate so much chocolate that she left remnants all over Gigi's house! (there are smudges all of the bathroom door and molding)
I feel a little bad about this picture. Since I'm the only one that would drink a Diet Coke in the morning, I happened to find out that the fridge in the basement was broken. Worse was that Mike had been keeping elk meat in there that had now all gone bad. So, instead of enjoying breakfast and time with the girls, Mike and Gary had to clean out the fridge.
