A Few Things I Don't Want To Forget.....

Lissie was very sick last night and as I was cuddling her on the couch, I noticed Abby with one of her many baby dolls. She had her all wrapped up and was cuddling her the way I had Lissie and she was whispering and singing to her. It was too cute. She is such a good "mommy" to her dollies.

Then this morning, when Abby came into our room, I reminded her that Lissie still wasn't feeling well and she went over to her, sat down and put her arm around her and kissed her head. I love how sweet Abby can be.

When Craig and Barbie were here visiting with us, Craig came up with the funniest, most perfect name for Lissie.....Mount Lissie! She has a tendency to errupt!!!!

We went for lunch today with Gigi and I remembered how Abby always wanted a Coke so that she could be Big like Mommy and Daddy. Well, Lissie wants to be Big too but she doesn't want a Coke, she wants a Sprite (she says "bite") like her sister!

Lissie is also now at the stage where she wants to buckle herself into the car. The other day she actually screamed at me and then said "I do it!!" We hear that a lot now!

There are also a couple of things that just make my whole day. The first is when Lissie comes up to me and strokes my hair and then says "Hi Mommy" She says it with a sweet, deep little voice and I just melt!! The second is right after Abby wakes up from her nap. She is usually still a little tired and she comes into my room and we get to snuggle on the bed watching TV together.

And finally, I just love how much Lissie likes to eat her meals. Whenever I even mention breakfast, lunch or dinner she runs to the dining room table climbs up into her chair and starts to buckle herself in......"I do it"
