Earlier this year, Dad's business Volunteer Today, did a fundraiser by selling tickets to Colorado's only amusement park. We've had the tickets since April and since they close for the winter at the end of October, we decided we should actually use them! So after nap, we took the girls to Elitch Gardens for their first experience. We joined some friends there and all the kids LOVED it and could ride almost every ride. Lissie was a little short for a few of them.
Here they are on the airplane ride. On the second go round, Abby figured out how to make the plane go up and down using the lever.
The next ride was the boat ride. They really enjoyed ringing the bell.

My brave Abby even tried the roller coaster with her buddy Eli and it is now official.....she is definitely my little girl!!! She had a BLAST! She is still asking to go back again.
We had a wonderful time and Mike said that I probably had more fun than anyone as I was jumping up and down giggling and smiling all night. We stayed way too late but it was so worth it. A fabulous first experience!
