It was a beautiful day today so Mom and I took the girls hiking up The Rock.
They had a blast and were amazingly good at it. The trail was covered with snow and ice but they both handled it beautifully. Lissie even did most of it all by herself. I carried her for about a tenth of the journey.
Abby was our "line leader" and ran ahead anytime we would get near her. Once I showed her that you could use your hands for balance, all caution was thrown to the wind!
Here we are at the top eating our favorite snack, fruit snacks.
Ever since this day the girls have begged to go hiking almost daily. Come on summer!

Yeah, I am so glad someone else in the family, besides my brother, loves to hike. They were amazing and we had so much fun.
My Abby and Lissie are definitely moutain goats - maybe we should take them to Blanco??
