Abby's Christmas Program

Abby's performance was great as well and this time she actually sang and did the motions. It was awesome. Lissie attended as well and clapped really loudly for her big sister.

Lissie's Christmas Program

One of my favorite things about school is the Christmas program. There is nothing cuter than getting your little one all dressed up and then watching them perform. Lissie loved her little dress.

The program was wonderful and Lissie sang like a pro. She's standing next to one of her favorite friends Angelina and the little boy next to her, Jackson, needed to go potty twice during the performance:) It was too funny. The other great thing was that Abby got to come and watch the show as well. It was great to see her applaud her little sister.

Decorating Their Own Trees

We love celebrating Advent with the girls. We try to do something special to celebrate the coming of Jesus each day. We do lots of things like read Christmas stories by the tree, make special treats for the neighbors, go out at night looking for Christmas lights and count all the nativities we see. Today the girls got to decorate the little tree that will go in their bedrooms.

They each have a pink tree and a little box of ornaments.

Its very serious work!

The final products. I think our next Advent treat will be to go and buy a star for the top of each tree.

Barbie's Birthday

We had a quiet dinner at our house to celebrate Barbie's brithday this year. Well, as quiet as it can be with Abby, Lissie and Porter together!

Here are the girls with their Auntie Barbie.

The kiddos played house by the Christmas tree. Porter was so cute allowing the girls to put him to bed.

Later we decided that the piano was the perfect spot to color pictures. Thank goodness for washable markers!

It was a fun evening with family. Its so nice that we're all so close that we can do little dinners like this together.

Disney On Ice

Abby had to wait a long time for her birthday present from Mommy and Daddy...tickets to go see Disney On Ice.

I think she thought it was worth the wait though!

There's a little girl who just LOVES her Daddy.

Lissie got to go this time as well. I love that she chose to wear the same outfit that Abby wore to her first Disney on Ice.

The parts with the Princesses were the biggest hit!

Playing by the Tree

One of the girls favorite "toys" is their infant car seat. Usually I find all kinds of baby dolls inside but today, Lissie thought it was the perfect place to pretend to take a nap!

Abby's favorite thing to do by the tree is read. She spends hours over in this little nook reading to herself and her babies.

The Finished Tree

Well, its not a close-up but it will have to work. I actually took this picture to show how much the girls love to play by the tree. They continually set up this little bed of blankets and either they or their babies sleep out here. I love watching Christmas through their eyes.
