More Memories

We went to the mall and the girls had a blast playing at Pottery Barn Kids in their little girlie section. I wish we could have that setup at home for them!!!
A backwards cap and glasses....could she be any cuter?!?!?!
Abby decided to dress herself. Please note the skirt and the jeans. This has become one of her new favorite outfits.
After showers I decided to put Lissie on the counter to watch me dry my hair. She promptly moved herself into my sink. Then Abby wanted up too. It was just too cute not to photograph.
Abby and her Papa waiting for the rest of us to get ready to leave.
We spent a lot of time eating while Craig and Barbie were visiting and of course, what trip would be complete without a visit or 10 to Costco or Sam's Club for a hotdog and Diet Coke?!
I just loved this picture of Craig and little Porter.

More Christmas Celebration

After our morning celebrations we got to go to Mike's family to celebrate some more. We had a great time eating lots of appetizers and even a wonderful meal of ham and lots of yummy sides. We were a little late for the party because the girls were so worn out that they napped a lot longer than normal:) The boys were very patient but were very happy when we got there so that they could start opening presents!
Joey was quite excited and who could blame him with all the boxes he had in front of him.
Abby's favorite part was throwing all of the paper.
It was a great time with family. Phil, Mike's son, was even able to join us this year.
The girls had so many presents that we actually ended up taking a break from them opening toys so that they could just play for awhile.
Abby enjoyed sitting on the big giant boxes.
Cindy and Tom are looking at a calendar Shellie made for Cheri. Abby, of course, had to be in the middle of the action.
Lissie liked the tag on Mommy's new sweater.
Shellie let Lissie take some pictures.
Sam's favorite present was his new cell phone! He even fell asleep with it.
We had a wonderful time celebrating with everyone and we were all spoiled rotten.

Finally....Present Time!!!

After forcing the kiddos to take one more group photo we finally let them open their presents. They had a blast.
Lissie enjoyed standing on all of the gifts the most.
Porter loved the paper. He's getting so close to crawling. Every time he was on his tummy he would rock back and forth and even made it forward a few times. Look out Craig and Barbie! Its a whole new world once they're mobile!!!

Both girls loved all of their presents. Here they are wearing their new tutus.
Lissie really liked her new zoo blanket. It was super soft and cuddly.
Granny and Grandpa enjoyed spending time with the babies the most.
Look at that sweet little face. We just love our little Porter chops.
All of the excitement wore Lissie out. She fell asleep drinking her bottle!

Snowman Pancake Breakfast

When the rest of the family made it over to the house we were very mean to the girls, we made them wait to open their presents until after breakfast!!! Of course we did make their favorite breakfast, pancakes and sausage. Daddy even made them in the shape of snowmen and candy canes! It was super yummy.
Porter so wanted some of his Daddy's pancakes but I don't think Daddy wanted to share!
More please!
Can we be done now?
Mmmmmm......pancakes!
Look at the cute little snowman.
Our compliments to the chef.

Christmas Morning Stockings

Probably my favorite part of Christmas is on Christmas morning when the girls open their stockings. They open them on our bed and are just so excited and happy. We're all in our jammies still so its very relaxed and just a lot of fun. This year we put out milk and cookies for Santa and Abby was very excited and nervous that he actually came.

I think its so cute how Abby has to cover her eyes or her ears when she's nervous!
Look, Santa came and drank all the milk and ate all the cookies and the stockings are full!!!
The girls loved all of their little surprises.
Lissie even got into it.
Here are the girls with their new Hello Kitty jewelry on.
Every Christmas morning we also play a game where we hide the baby Jesus from their nativity. The girls run around the house looking for Him. Its a very small reminder that the reason we celebrate Christmas is because it is the day Jesus was born.
After opening all of their stocking gifts we moved into the family room to play and wait for the rest of the family to arrive.
Here is Abby making our breakfast.
Lissie and Daddy got in some cuddle time before Granny, Grandpa, Craig, Barbie and Porter came over. It was a wonderful morning.

A couple other Christmas week photos

Granny was very happy to have all of her grandbabies together for the holiday!
Lissie stole Porter's santa hat. Isn't she adorable though?

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful time this Christmas. Craig and Barbie came from Florida with sweet little Porter! It was so wonderful to share his first Christmas with them. We had a wonderful week filled with family, food and fun. Here are a few of the highlights from Chrismas eve.
Barbie, Craig and Porter in front of the tree.
Our family in front of the tree.
Abby opening her traditional Christmas eve jammies!
Lissie enjoyed opening her jammies too!
After we got our jammies, we all changed and had the most amazing Christmas eve dinner. Mom really outdid herself this year!!! Here is Abby having her very first champagne (don't worry its sparkling cider!)
Lissie loved dinner too!
Of course we also had crackers with the foil crowns. I have to admit, thats one of my favorite traditions. Its always fun to try and get Craig to wear his. He wouldn't this year though:(
The girls were happy to try on their crowns though.
After dinner we had a special visit from Grandpa Claus who brought giant sacks filled with presents for each little one.
Abby loved her sack almost as much as the presents.
Then it was time for dessert. Lissie enjoyed the whipped cream best of all.
There was so much excitement that we wore Granny out!
